Acute provides services to the enezy industry for onshore and offshore projects and is a resource for technical innovation to which the energy industry’s engineering groups have turned to design solutions for fabrication challenges.

Candidates should have the following skill sets:

• Proficiency with Stainless Steel, Duplex and Nickel Alloys
• Manual GTAW on small diameter tubing and pipe
• Automatic Orbital GTAW programming and operation
• Operation of Mechanized and Automatic SAW, GTAW (AVC)
• All Position SMAW, Semi-Automatic GMAW and FCAW• Set-up various welding equipment power supplies, controls, and manipulators
• Read welding procedures and drawings
• Detailed job reporting and documentation of daily project activities
• Communicate within a project team to resolve problems

Candidates should also be able to:

• Comply with shop safety practices and policies
• Work overtime when requested
• Keep work areas clean and neatly organized

All applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Welding Certification or Associates Degree preferred. CWI is a plus.
